We’re just a week out from the start of the busiest shopping season of the year, with Black Friday ready to kick things off, starting on November 29. And while you might be holding out for next weekend, many retailers have already started discounting products early, dropping prices on some of our favorite tech products to the lowest we’ve seen all year.
Now’s going to be a great time to shop, with deep discounts on phones, tablets, wearables, audio gear, and more. Of course, we’re here to give you the best possible chance to score serious savings. And while it’s difficult to know what kinds of promotions lie ahead, we can use our expertise with deals in order to see whether something on sale right now is going to be your best bet.
So let’s go ahead and see what kinds of promotions are available right now, and see whether it’s worth picking anything up at this very moment. Naturally, we’ll be doing our best to navigate some of our favorite tech categories, and at the same time updating this massive list with new deals that come up. So be sure to check back frequently because we anticipate great deals ahead.
Best Android phone deals
When it comes to phones, we’ve been seeing some pretty good discounts throughout the year. But if you’ve held out this long, it means you’re only looking to score the absolute best deals. And if you’re looking to buy, this year’s lineup has to offer some of the best options thanks to flagships like Samsung’s Galaxy S24 Ultra, Google’s Pixel 9 series, mid-range devices like the OnePlus 12R, and even budget options like the Samsung Galaxy A15 5G.
That’s not even considering some of the older-generation devices that are still worth taking a look at. But the good thing is that there’s something for everyone, no matter your budget. As of right now, we’re seeing deals on a variety of handsets, from the Galaxy S24 Ultra to the recently released Pixel 9. We’ve seen some deep discounts on these devices before, but what we’re seeing now is pretty much the lowest we’ve seen all year.
We’re also seeing some great discounts on foldable phones as well, with excellent prices on the OnePlus Open, Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 too. However, if you’re looking to buy a Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold, we’d recommend waiting as we aren’t seeing any great deals on this handset. Overall, though, you can’t go wrong buying a new phone right now with stellar pricing on some of this year’s best handsets. You can always check back on Black Friday, but we think these current prices are going to be some of the lowest of the year.
Best Android tablet deals
Android tablets are another category that frequently sees discounts throughout the year, but the deals just aren’t as consistent, which means, if you see a good price, you should probably grab it while it’s still available. The good news is that, right now, we’re seeing some pretty good discounts on some of the best tablets that you can buy right now.
The recently released Galaxy Tab S10+ is well below its original retail price, along with great discounts on some other tablets from Samsung, as well like the Galaxy Tab S9 FE or Galaxy Tab A9+. While Amazon did have some great deals on its device, it looks like it’s pulled things back at the moment, but we anticipate things will drop to record-low prices once Black Friday kicks in.
Best smartwatch and fitness tracker deals
Heading into the final part of the year, smartwatches and fitness trackers are always going to be popular gifts. Surprisingly, some of the best smartwatches you can buy right now from Samsung are all on sale, and the prices, to be frank, are pretty good. The Galaxy Watch 7 is seeing a rare discount, along with the Galaxy Watch Ultra.
If you’re looking for something cheaper, we recommend going with the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic or Galaxy Watch 6, which are both down to some excellent prices. But if you’re looking for something more fitness-focused, the Garmin is going to be right up your alley with a number of options that are priced well below retail. Sadly, we arent’ seeing any great deals on Pixel Watches.
Best accessory deals
These are some of the best prices we’ve seen on chargers, power banks, and charging stands. For the most part, we’re seeing the strongest deals available from Anker. Of course, we also expect top brands like Ugreen to also compete in this space when Black Friday comes, but we’re not seeing anything special quite yet. And just in case you were in the market for gimbal, the Osmo Mobile 6 is down to its lowest price at just $89 right now.
Best Chromebook deals
Amazon usually doesn’t offer the best selection when it comes to Chromebooks. Luckily, we can lean on Best Buy here since it offers the best selection when it comes to laptops and Chromebooks. Right now there are some good deals from both Amazon and Best Buy, as prices are at some of their lowest to date.
As far as what we expect, it’s really a mixed bag here, as this category isn’t historically known for offering the best discounts going into the end of the year. Typically, summer is when you’re going to see the best prices thanks to retailers catering to students going back to school. But if you see something you like, we recommend grabbing it now.
Best headphones and earbuds deals
Audio is an area that usually sees some great discounts during special sales events. And while we’re seeing some great prices here, we think that the discounts during Black Friday will be better. If you’re looking for discounts on Sennheiser and Jabra, now’s going to be the time to buy, as these are some of the best prices we’ve seen to date.
Of course, you can’t go wrong with a pair of Beats, which are now down to their lowest price so far this year. But if you’re thinking about picking up some Sony products, we suggest waiting, as prices have been better in the past. Overall, the prices that we’re seeing aren’t too bad right now, but you might benefit from waiting if interested in specific products.
Best smart home deals
If you’re looking to go with Amazon-owned smart home brands like Ring, Echo, or Eero — you can’t go wrong buying these devices now. A few of these products are already at their lowest prices ahead of Black Friday Day, and we don’t anticipate seeing them drop any lower since we’ve yet to see the prices fall below what we’re seeing now. Of course, there could always be some kind of Lightning Deal that pop up, but you’re going to need to be there at the right time to take advantage.
When is Black Friday?
If you’ve been surfing online, or have been to the mall lately, you’ve probably already seen plenty of advertisements for Black Friday. This year’s event will take place starting on November 29. And since this is a sales event that will continue through the weekend, you can expect to see heavy discounts on November 30 and December 1 too.
We’re already seeing some great early Black Friday deals, but if you’re adamant about waiting it out, then you’ll want to mark November 29 on your calendar. Also, don’t forget about Cyber Monday. That’s a one-day sales event that immediately follows the Black Friday weekend sale. You’ll be able to find some new deals on this day, for one day only, so this is one to keep an eye out for.
What to expect on Black Friday
For the most part, you’re going to see all the top retailers trying their best to each other, offering the deepest discounts on some of our favorite tech products. So if you thought Prime Day offered some fantastic deals, think again, because Black Friday is going to be even better.
The great part about this sales event is that you won’t need any special memberships for most products. Of course, it doesn’t hurt to be an Amazon Prime or My Best Buy member, but it’s not a requirement.
